CardIQ Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the CardIQ mobile application, a trading card scanner and collection manager. By using the app, you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By using CardIQ, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to users in the USA, Canada, EU, and UK. If you do not agree, you must stop using the app.
CardIQ is provided by Alquimia Studio.
2. License and Use
We grant you a limited, personal, non-commercial license to use the app.
You may NOT:
Copy, modify, or reverse engineer the app
Sell, rent, or sublicense the app
Use the app for commercial purposes
Remove copyright notices
Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools
Attempt unauthorized access
All content, design, and code are owned by Alquimia Studio.
3. Anonymous Usage and Data Ownership
No account is required; users are identified by an anonymous UUID
All images and data are stored locally on your device
You retain ownership of your data
Data is deleted when the app is uninstalled
Alquimia Studio is not responsible for:
Device malfunction or data loss
Uninstalling the app
Unauthorized access or device compromise
Cloud backup issues (iCloud or Google Drive)
4. Card Information and Grading Disclaimer
The app provides:
Card identification
AI-based grading estimates
Market pricing from third-party sources
Important: These are estimates only and not official grading results.
No guarantee of accuracy:
Card identification may be incorrect
Grades may differ from professional grading services
Prices may change rapidly
Listings may not be available
Users should verify all information independently and consult professional grading services.
5. Third-Party Services
OpenAI:
Processes images for analysis
Does not retain data after processing
eBay:
Provides pricing data
Receives only card-related queries
We are not responsible for third-party services or changes in their functionality.
6. Free Tier and Subscription
Free Plan:
1 card scan (lifetime)
1 collection
1 card added
CardIQ Pro:
Up to 25 scans per day
Unlimited collections and cards
Subscriptions billed via App Store
Pricing:
Weekly: $5.99
Monthly: $14.99
Annual: $79.99
Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled. Payments are handled securely by third-party providers.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
Engage in illegal activities
Violate intellectual property rights
Hack or disrupt the app
Use automated tools or scraping
Upload malicious content
Use the app commercially
Violations may result in termination and legal action.
8. Warranty Disclaimer
The app is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind.
No guarantee of accuracy or reliability
No guarantee of uninterrupted service
Features may change or be discontinued
9. Limitation of Liability
Alquimia Studio is not liable for:
Loss of data, profits, or revenue
Business interruption
Indirect or consequential damages
Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the app (or $0 if free).
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold harmless Alquimia Studio from any claims arising from your use of the app or violation of these terms.
11. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.
We may terminate access if you violate these terms or for operational reasons.

13. Modifications
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app implies acceptance of changes.
14. Governing Law
