By using Coin AI you agree to these terms. Please read them — especially the note that the app provides estimates, not professional appraisals.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the app with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app for identifying and tracking your own collection. You agree not to misuse, reverse engineer, or resell the service.

Estimates, not appraisals

Identifications, grades and values are AI- and market-based estimates that can be wrong. They are for informational purposes only and are not a professional appraisal or a guarantee of authenticity or price. Always confirm with a qualified expert before buying or selling.

Subscriptions and billing

Premium is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple App Store account, available as a weekly, monthly, or yearly plan at the price shown in the app at the time of purchase. It renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. The free scan and collection allowance is not a subscription trial and does not automatically convert into a paid plan.

Right of withdrawal (EU/UK)

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, consumer law normally gives you 14 days to withdraw from a digital purchase without giving a reason. By subscribing, you acknowledge that the subscription begins immediately and expressly agree to lose this withdrawal right once you start using the premium features, in exchange for immediate access. You can still cancel future renewals at any time as described above.

Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be made directly to Apple through your App Store account; we do not process payments or issue refunds ourselves.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or block access tied to an anonymous identifier that we reasonably believe is abusing or circumventing the service (for example, bypassing scan limits). You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.

Intellectual property

The app, its design, and underlying software belong to Alquimia Studio. You keep the rights to the photos you take; AI-generated descriptions and estimates are provided for your personal, non-commercial use.

Limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made based on the estimates the app provides, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim arising from your misuse of the app or violation of these terms.

Force majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including outages of OpenAI, eBay, Apple, or other third-party services the app relies on.

Your consumer rights are not affected

Nothing in these terms limits any statutory right you have under the law of your place of residence that cannot be waived by contract, including consumer protections available in the EU, the UK, and Canada.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the app will be resolved in the courts of Colombia, except where local consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

Apple App Store terms

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these terms are between you and Alquimia Studio only, not Apple, and Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support for the app. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Assignment

We may transfer or assign these terms, for example if our business is reorganized or acquired. You may not assign these terms without our consent.

Entire agreement

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the app, and replace any prior agreement on the same subject.

Severability

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect.
