Welcome to ClearSpace ("we," "our," or "us"), operated by Alquimia Studio. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application ("App"). This policy applies to users worldwide and complies with applicable privacy laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and other relevant regulations.

ClearSpace is built on a privacy-first architecture. Most critically:

We NEVER collect your photos or videos - All photo analysis happens 100% on your device using local processing
We NEVER access your photo library data - We process images in memory without storing them to servers
We NEVER upload metadata about your photos - File names, creation dates, or image hashes are not sent to our servers
We NEVER track your location - No geolocation data is collected
We NEVER share photo data with third parties - RevenueCat and analytics services receive zero photo information

2.2 Personal Information You Provide

We collect only essential information needed to provide our service:

Account Information: Email address, name, and password (if you create an account)
Authentication Data: Information from third-party providers (Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In) including your name, email address, and profile information
Subscription Data: Information processed by RevenueCat and Apple/Google for subscription management
Support Communications: Information you provide when contacting customer support

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

Device Information: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information
Usage Data: Number of scans performed, app features used, time and duration of app usage
Analytics Data: Aggregate usage statistics collected through Firebase Analytics (no photo data)

2.4 Children's Privacy (COPPA)

COPPA Compliance: ClearSpace is NOT intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. 5. On-Device Processing (Our Core Advantage)

ClearSpace's breakthrough architecture means:

100% Local Processing: Duplicate detection, similarity analysis, and video detection all happen on your device
No Cloud Storage of Photos: Your photos never leave your device
Encrypted Local Database: Scan history is stored locally using encrypted SQLite on your device only
Zero Photo Transmission: We cannot access, view, or process your photos on our servers

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures:

Encryption in transit using TLS/SSL protocols
Encryption at rest for sensitive data
Secure authentication using Firebase Auth
Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
GDPR-compliant data handling

Important: Since your photos are processed locally on your device, they remain under your exclusive control and device protection.

Account Data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 24 hours when you request account deletion
Analytics Data: Aggregate and anonymized. Retained for 14 months (Google's standard)

8.3 Subscription Data

Subscription Records: Managed by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat. Retained for tax and legal compliance (typically 7 years)

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where our service providers are located. We ensure adequate protection through Standard Contractual Clauses and compliance with GDPR requirements.

10. Do Not Track Signals

ClearSpace does not respond to "Do Not Track" signals. However, you can control analytics through your device settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
